My hobby: Hair
Dedicated to Kenya and Sue
Since I was 8, I loved hair. I got 2 dolls -One named Kenya and the other was Sue and her Salon, the black doll (I got her on Christmas, can't remember when I got Kenya) and learned how to comb, brush, plat, put their hair in a ponytail and braid. They were literally my dummy heads. See unlike my hair at that time, their hair was black and straight, mine was black and nappy. And I wanted hair likes theirs. I begged and pleaded my mom to perm my hair at the age of 10 (I still remember the night she did it WRONG in the kitchen... I swear mothers... smh) and now at the lovely age of 23 I am back to black and nappy hair! It was hard giving up my dolls, oh wait, I still have them. But I attempted to give them up and thought, naaaa I'm going to need that hair one day (and I just couldn't part ways with my first clients).
