Wake up and Sing! with CVI

The Center for the Visually Impaired is Georgia’s largest service provider for the blind and visually impaired. For 50 years, the Center for the Visually Impaired has empowered people with vision loss to live with independence and dignity serving people of all ages. More than 5,000 people from Atlanta and all over Georgia turn to CVI to help them adjust, or improve a life with limited or no sight. CVI is Georgia’s largest comprehensive, fully accredited private facility providing rehabilitation services for the blind and visually impaired.
The BEGIN program caters to the infancy, early childhood & preschool children that are visually impaired. It serves children 5 and under as well as parents, teachers and child care providers. The program includes vision assessments of vision and development with
vision and developmental activities for parents and children to family and child group meetings to provide music activities to short-term counseling support for individuals and families.
Wake Up and Sing! is an activity that is instructed by Memori Lerch and Jacqueline Howard to provide a fun atmosphere for parents and children to enjoy sing-a-longs, dance and engage in group counseling, Thursday morning at the Center for the Visually Impaired.
