Aha!
I titled this Aha- for meaning the "Aha moment"
As I sit at my desk, writing a press release/article/summary of an event that I attended for my job - I realized (hence the Aha moment) that I do a lot of interesting things that most people wouldn't think I do. So instead of me being selfish and just soaking up the experience, I am going to write about it from my standpoint. What all I saw, how it affected me, who I met and how beneficial it was.
I am excited about this because the remaining and upcoming year will be interesting and I want to share it (not just write it in my journal) and hopefully, inspire people to do the same- which is OPEN YOUR MIND.
Starting with a recap of my weekend.
I should have taken pictures but I didn't so I hope my description will be sufficient.
The Events:
-Went to a softball game watching old classmates play (always fun cheering for people who can 1. actually hear you 2. appreciate you attending their game 3. actually know as a friend)
- Sat/rode/drove in mydream car - Range Rover. And I'm glad I did because although they are pretty cool - and have an elite social status ummmm they aren't all that great. So with that being said- I'm sticking with my new dream car of BMW.
- Later that night, I was told I was going to a Pizza bar place but didn't really expect to witness what I saw. As we walked inside a stiff, no air (seriously no air) bar filled with white people, I was thinking "OH MY GAUH!" It was so hot and funky inside that we stood outside because it was much cooler. Seeing handwritten signs soliciting $2 beer $3 margaritas $1 jello shots $2 Eye of the Tigers and a big screen in front of us, I thought it was movie night. WRONG!!!! On the other side of the screen where girls, barely clothed and a blow up tub filled with jello waiting to be tossed and wrestled in. NO JOKE! When the screen shot showed the blow up tub fromWalmart Family Dollar and RED Jello- I knew it was about to go down *Kevin Hart. I stood there watching 2 girls wrestle each other down in the jello and then finding myself cheering for one *Rachel- Seth's girlfriend. Of course by then, I was about 4 jello shots in so it was all good. The matches were over around 12 and Rachel had lost and so it was time to go.
And that night will go down in history as a WTH turned Pretty Awesome night.
OH well... Sure more is to come.
