Ok! So exercising my videography skills, I took my HD camera to Savannah, Georgia to capture the best HBCU homecoming in history!!!!! (You know we like to hype it up). I am so glad I had my camera because I was able to record these memories and then share with others so that we could all laugh and reminisce on SSU HC2K12 in the years to come!!! I truly have found my new hobby! HOMECOMMINNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!
Below is a video playlist from SSU HC2K12 as well as soon photos. Enjoy!

So, after uploading my video footage, I realized that I didn't see half the people at Homecoming and that I was in another world the entire time. I missed so many faces especially during tailgating (I don't know if that is a good thing or not). So next year I will be in everyone face so that I can capture every moment. This is just a warning so be prepared! Lady Dee AKA Denii will have the HD Camera in full effect! GO TIGERS!!!!!!
I watched a movie last night called "The Very Thought of You." It was supposed to be a love story and comedy but I found it to be a messy triangle that happens 5 out of 10 times in real life and 9 out 10 times in college; especially at an HBCU. 1 girl and 3 guys who just so happen to be best friends, met randomly on separate occasions. While 2 of the guys actually begin to fall in love with her, 1 of them was just going through the motions. All of this falling in love from one random coincidence and after another. But in the end, 1 best friend gets her heart. She kept saying throughout the movie, that she was on the search for the 1 guy out of 10 million, which she just so happened to find, through 3 best friends. I believe everyone is also on this search. I know I had been on the search since I was in college, and was told "You'll find your husband in college." BTW, "OFF WITH THEIR HEAD!!!!" for whoever that was that...
Whooooooooo HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Turning 25... If only you could see my face as I write this. Anywho, when I was younger I wrote a letter to my 21 year old self about all the things I wanted and should have done by that age. I read it and only had 1 thing completed, which was college. Yea I never wrote another letter to myself after that. "Life is what you make it." "Live life to the fullest." " You only live once - N**** YOLO is the motto." "Life is grand." "Be happy." All the cliches about life that I can remember. But the only cliche that fits my life perfect is "LIFE IS A BOX OF CHOCOLATES, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU GOING TO GET." The following phrase should be "Now what you going to do? Are you going to bite each one until you find the one you like and stick with it or put back the bitten off ones that have been given?" For me the answer is and has always been "I don't know." ...
2013 Has ended. Now it is ******2014****** I honestly thought that 2013 would be the best year. Things were truly looking up for me. Although I lost my favorite person in the entire world, my grandmother in December 2012, I figured that 2013 would be awesome. And indeed it was. Here's my recap. Ok so starting off the year., with a Master degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail!! Awesomeness. Graduation day from Full Sail University. I brought the new year in with some friends and my family. We went to the LSU game and then church then hit Peters Street together. It was a fun and interesting night none the less. (Sidebar: I was told this story that the guy you spend NYE with will be the guy you will spend the entire year with. Ok. Yea that's a lie. I don't know why I believe those things! ) Friends at New Year's Eve events So then I had this like amazing 26th birthday with the most amazing friends ever and had a blast!! Looking bac...
